With businesses closing due to COVID-19, online shopping is quickly becoming the only option for getting in a little retail therapy. It may seem like the only online options are big corporations like Amazon or Walmart but many local businesses are offering shipping during this time.

Truly Yours is a women’s clothing store with locations both at 405 Evans St. and in the Greenville Mall. According to owner Erin Davis this has been a difficult time for their business as this is usually a very busy shopping season for them. However, they are also an e-commerce site and are hoping that online sales can help to support them while their storefront is closed. Truly Yours is currently offering free shipping on online orders. In stressful times people often find themselves reaching for a little something sweet. Jenny’s Ugly Chocolates ships their artisan chocolate bonbons, candy bars and toffees all across the United States. Owner Jenni Farrow makes the chocolates right from her home kitchen in Greenville. She said that starting this week she will begin offering both delivery and pick-up options for locals. Shop at her website.

Simple and Sentimental is a locally owned business that specializes in customizable, personalized gifts. Their website offers products such as mugs, tumblers, signs, a variety of wedding items and more. Owner and Founder Taylor Walden said that they are currently offering free shipping on orders over $35 and will include a free wine glass in orders over $50. Shop on their website or in their Etsy shop SimpleSentimental.

Coffman’s Mens Wear is updating its website since COVID-19 will be keeping people from coming into the store. They are also making private appointments in-store or virtually through FaceTime, text, or email. They offer shipping as well as delivery to local areas. Shop on their website

With the public encouraged to stay home, it is likely that many will be looking for things to occupy their time. Snap Slimes offers a remedy to this problem. They sell both pre-made slime and Ready-Mix slime kits in a variety of scents and colors. Owner and founder Hannah Sanders said that they “are taking extra sanitary precautions in the production of [their] slime products.” Their products are available for shipping on their Facebook page, @gvegasslimes2, or in their Etsy shop, GVegasSlimes.

From Marfa is a boutique clothing store in Uptown Greenville. Owner Emily Singletary said they offer shipping across the country but also have free pick-up and drop-off options available locally. Singletary also said that shoppers can message them on Facebook or Instagram about placing orders. They are currently offering 25% off everything in their store with the code Clorox25. Shop on their website.

Vintage clothing business, East Coast Collection, offers world wide shipping and are still accepting appointments to visit their storage shop. CEO Rece Tuten said they are currently offering 20% off of the entire shop and an additional 15% off for first time customers. They are also hoping for some clothing donations as they are unable to shop at their usual thrift shop locations due to COVID-19. Shop on their instagram @eastcoastcollection_
