Head coach Heather Macy

East Carolina University women’s basketball head coach Heather Macy will debut her weekly radio show on WZMB 91.3 FM Thursday at 7 p.m. inside Fire American Tavern, located off 113 E 5th St. in Greenville, North Carolina.

‘Heather Macy All-Access’ will feature a little bit of everything for Pirate fans. Macy will be joined by the assistant coaches and various players each week with different players featured every week as special guests who will do “Pirate Profiles”.

Macy teased at who the guest player is for the first show, saying the rumor that guard Alex Frazier will be on the show is likely. The show is set up for fans to learn more about ECU women’s basketball off of the court, featuring the players’ likes and dislikes, as well as their interests, hobbies and much more. ECU and Macy are encouraging all to get the ultimate experience in person.

“Come to Fire American Tavern, they do a great job (and have) amazing food,” Macy said. “You get to meet our staff and get to meet a couple players each week. It’s a really cool opportunity to get the inside scoop with the women’s basketball team.”

The show will air Thursday evenings from 7-8 p.m. with the show scheduled to air tomorrow and pick back up Feb. 1 on Thursday evening’s until the end of the season.
